Detailed Introduction about Electronic Belt Scale
The frame of an electronic weighing feeder is divided into two-lever multi-idler type, single-idler type, cantilever type and suspension type. The electronic weighing feeder with two-lever multi-idler type or suspension type frame has a relatively longer metering section (normally 2 to 8 sets of idlers) and high metering accuracy, suitable for applications that have big flow and require high metering accuracy. The electronic weighing feeder with single-idler type or suspension type frame has a belt speed set by the manufacturer and is suitable for applications where flow is small or flow control is needed for the purpose of batching.
Weighing display is divided into digital display and character display. Character display is the upgraded version of digital display.
Weighing display can display both accumulated and instant flow, and has auto zeroing, semi-auto zeroing, self-inspection of faults, digital calibration, flow control, printing and other functions.
Besides, character display can also display speed and is accompanied by functional display that helps users for better operation.
An electronic weighing feeder is comprised by a frame, a speed sensor, a high-precision weighing sensor and control & display instrument, etc. It can weigh solid materials constantly and dynamically.
The weighing bridge of the electronic weighing feeder is installed on the transmission rack. When materials pass, the weighing idler detects the weight of materials on the belt conveyor and acts on the weighing sensor through the lever, thus producing a voltage signal proportional to the load on the belt. The speed sensor is directly connected to a large-diameter speed testing roller and provides a series of pulses. Each pulse represents a belt moving unit and the frequency of pulse is proportional to belt speed. The weighing instrument receives signal from the weighing sensor and the speed sensor, gets an instant flow value and an accumulated weight value through integral operation, and shows these two values separately.
